Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Why do websites want you to subscribe?

Websites typically encourage subscriptions for a few key reasons:

  • Content Delivery: They might offer exclusive content like articles, videos, or downloadable resources to subscribers. This incentivises users to sign up for ongoing access.
  • Community Building: Subscriptions can foster a sense of community around the website's content or brand. Subscribers might get access to forums, exclusive groups, or events.
  • Lead Generation: Email addresses collected through subscriptions become valuable marketing leads. Websites can use them for targeted email marketing campaigns, promoting products, services, or future content.
  • Customer Retention: Subscriptions keep users engaged with the website and coming back for more. This can be especially valuable for e-commerce sites where repeat customers are crucial.
